Charles Joseph Boedeker

April 23, 1939 — December 10, 2021

Charles Joseph Boedeker of Trophy Club, Texas died December 10, 2021 at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lynn Boedeker, his two sons, Robert Boedeker and Steven Boedeker, four grandchildren, Benjamin and Jacob Boedeker and Adeline and Violet Boedeker.
Charles was born April 23, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to Charles Joseph Boedeker and Josephine Perdue.

Chuck served eight years in the Air Force. After discharge, he began working for IBM where he worked for 35 years. Having obtained his commercial pilot license through the GI Bill, he embarked on a second career as a pilot in Alaska for eight years. Chuck’s passion was flying. He enjoyed morning breakfast flights, fly-ins, and working on our Super Cub. He also gave of his time and talents to the local food bank, served as an Ambassador at DFW Airport, was a volunteer fireman and was active in the Quiet Birdman Organization where he interviewed many WWII veterans videotaping their stories and recording their oral histories. He loved traveling, going to Maverick games, music especially going to concerts. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Chuck will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

A memorial service will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 S. Main Street, Keller, Texas on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
