Charles Richard Causby, Jr.

COLLEYVILLE -- Charles Richard Causby, Jr, 84, passed away on Sunday June 5, 2016.
Funeral: 10:00 am Monday, June 20, 2016, in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment will follow at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 am prior to the funeral service.
Charles was born March 25, 1932 in Batesville, Arkansas to the late Charles and Edna Causby. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. In 1954, he married Imogene Dortch and had a wonderful marriage. He cherished his wife and his family. A devout Christian, he received his Masters of Divinity from South West Theological Seminary and served throughout his life in ministry. He also earned a Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri and worked many years serving fellow veterans as a Social Worker at VA Hospitals. Above all, he loved his family who will miss him dearly.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Imogene Dortch Causby; 2 sisters, Ida Ruth Farris and Cathy Rasco; and brother, Richard Causby.
Survivors: Daughter, Rose Causby Griggs and husband Glenn; grandchildren, Andrea Griggs, Patrick Griggs, and Alex Griggs; sisters, Gina Skinner, Ann Rasco, Alice Stickney, Pat Stohl, and Clara Wilmsen; brother, Windfred Causby; and a host of nieces and nephews.
