Charles "Charlie" Thomas Wise

Charles “Charlie” Thomas Wise was born 10/01/1944 in Pewee Valley, KY to Charles Claybrooke and Sarah Katherine Wise. Charlie passed away at home after a short battle with Cancer on August 15, 2018.
Charlie grew up in Lexington and Danville, KY. After graduating from High School he enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. It was there that he fell in love with the great state of Texas and decided to make it his home and began a 50 year career in the automobile industry touching the lives of so many with his kindness, passion and knowledge of cars. He retired from Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, 12/31/2014.
Charlie loved his Lord and Savior with all his heart and soul and was an active member of Cornerstone Bible Church in Roanoke, TX.
He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 39 years, Cindy; his sons, Nathan and wife, Holly, Michael and wife, Stephanie; daughter, Sarah Allen and husband Kyle; brother, Clyde and wife Mary; 7 precious grandchildren and so many wonderful family and friends who loved and prayed for him and our family during this difficult journey.

Visitation/Viewing for Charlie will be held 10:30 am-12:00 pm Monday, August 20, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Grapevine, 301 East Texas Street. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm. Please join the family following the service for a reception at the church.
