Charles "Chuck" Childress passed away on October 6, 2018.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday October 12, 2018 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
Charles was born in East St Louis, IL on May 11, 1941 to parents Charles and Manell Childress. He spent 20 years in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War where he received The Bronze Star.
Chuck was preceded in death by his son, Dominic Childress; daughter, Neko Childress; and sister, Glenell Blair.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Cheryl Childress; sons, David Childress and wife, Tohana, Carlos Childress and wife, Anna, and Frank Thomas and wife, Erika; grandchildren, Kris Childress, Alexander Childress; and Dre-lon Lang; brother, Jack Childress; and many other extended family and friends.
