Charles A "Bud" Cross

Charles "Bud" Cross, 82, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Oct. 31, 2016.

Memorial Service: 10:00am Monday, November 7 at White's Chapel United Methodist Church, Grace Chapel, Southlake, TX.

Bud was born in Fremont, Ohio, graduated from Bowling Green University and went on to get his Masters at Pepperdine University. Bud served the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Lt. Col. After retiring from the Air Force, Bud embarked on a career as a Boy Scout Executive for the Los Angeles Area Council. He later worked for Prudential Insurance receiving numerous awards including Ring of Champions. Bud was a member of Rotary International. He developed many friendships over the past 39 years and was a friend of Bill W.

Survivors: Bud's wife of 62 years, Betty Lou; sons, Jeffery and Chris of Keller, Rob and his wife Christie, of Trophy Club; daughter, Andrea and her husband Mark of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sister, Connie Haar of Fremont, Ohio; brother, Jerry Cross of Gillespie, Illinois; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Inurnment at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Myleodysplastic Association.
