KELLER -- Charles Leon Melvin, 84, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013. Service: 11 a.m. Friday at Haltom City Christian Church in Haltom City. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Memorial: In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Haltom City Christian Church, 4121 Haltom Road, Haltom City, Texas 76117. Charles was born March 29, 1929, to Fred and Gladys Walls Melvin in West Frankfort, Ill. Survivors: Sons, Scott, Jeff and Jamie; daughter, Mindy; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Dean Melvin; amd sisters, Maxine Jordan and Myrldean Leone.
