Charles Stienkemeyer

Charles “Chuck” Frederick Stienkemeyer, 69, passed away Monday, December 2nd, 2024 in Grapevine, Texas. Son of Elaine Grace Erbe and Lawrence Frederick Stienkemeyer Sr., he was born March 26th, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri.

He graduated from Parkway South High school in 1973. He then worked in various bakeries with his father Lawrence Sr. And brother Lawrence Jr. in Connecticut and Michigan. He moved to Texas where he worked at Wonderbread bakery. He moved on to work at Mark Kay Cosmetics utilizing his journeyman electrician license. Shortly after working at Mary Kay he met the love of his life, Alice. He retired from Mary Kay in 2007. Unable to keep still he continued to work various handy man jobs and eventually worked and retired from Beauty Solutions Manufacturing Corporation.

He was preceded to heaven by his mother, Elaine, father, Lawrence, brother, Kurt and sister, Eileen.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Stienkemeyer of Grapevine, Tx; their children Marci Stienkemeyer of Watauga, Tx, Lisa Spriggs and husband Cody Spriggs of Edgewood, Tx; two very beloved grandchildren Blakely Spriggs and Brookson Spriggs; son, Chuck Sebolt and wife Rachel, daughters Kayla and Jillian; brother Lawrence Stienkemeyer and wife Connie of Connecticut, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews. Chuck was a deeply beloved father, husband, uncle, brother and friend.

Chuck loved his dogs and many other dogs that weren’t his own. You could always find him with all the dogs sneaking them a bite of his food. He especially cared for his Ruger, Daisy May, and Anna Marie. Chuck began hunting early on and passed down his knowledge and love for the sport to his children Marci and Lisa, his son in law Cody and even his grandchildren. Who accompanied him to the lease before they could even walk. He made a few lifelong friends hunting and cherished the laughs and stories told around the campfire. While we lost our most beloved husband and dad, many have lost a friend and loved one in him. He has been a rock to many, a master at sarcastic humor and witty timing to others and even a glorious pain in the neck to what I’m sure is a small select few. No matter what happened between you in your lives, once you were marked as important to him, he’d be by your side if you needed him.

Chuck spent his last years spoiling his two grandchildren Blakely and Brookson. Teasing, teaching and most importantly loving them unconditionally. He attended every function, game, holiday and birthday with his loving wife by his side basking in the wonderfulness that is being a grandparent.

He will be cremated and laid to rest in all the places he wished to be including with his mother and father.

We love you more than words could ever tell. A piece of our hearts will forever be missing. Your love was unconditional and your hugs could cure all. There will not be a day that goes by that we will not miss you. We may not be sure how to go through this life without you, but you taught us to never give up and to keep fighting and that’s exactly what we will do. We love you with all our hearts always and forever.
