Charles A Whitehurst

Charles Augustus Whitehurst II passed away in his home on October 1, 2015. Charles was born on April 3, 1992 in Atlanta, GA and is the son and first child of Bennett C. and Bonnie B. Whitehurst. He was 23 and will live in our hearts forever.
Charlie was active from the day he learned to walk. He ran everywhere and climbed everything he could. He was intelligent, curious, creative, artistic, passionate about his interests and had a wonderful spirit for adventure. Charlie will be especially remembered for his love and compassion for family and friends. He was extremely faithful and protective to those he cared for deeply. Charlie will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Charlie is survived by his parents, his sister Katherine A. Whitehurst and his grandparents Charles A. and Jean B. Whitehurst and LaVerne H. Brown. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather John M. Brown.
His family ask that any donations be made to The Jason Foundation for the prevention of youth suicide in the name of Charles Whitehurst.
