Charline M. Spera, 91, of Roanoke, Texas, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 9, 2015, while residing at North Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation in Watauga, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be from noon to 1:00pm prior to the funeral services which will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas, with Minister Tim Pierce officiating. Burial will be at Bourland Cemetery in Keller, Texas, following the services.
Charline was born on March 10, 1924 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Lester A. and Irene (March) Hockaday.
Charline was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, watching television, playing card games and dominoes. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charline is survived by her children, Janet (John) Coker of Bartonville, TX, Gayle Yarbro of Roanoke, TX, and Carla (Mitch) Fuller of Madisonville, TN; grandchildren, Johnny (Cindy) Coker of Frisco, Marla (Frank) May of Keller, TX, Gennifer (Trace) Mann of Haslet, TX, Gina Wall of Roanoke, TX, Casey (Robyn) Newton of Chattanooga, TN; great-grandchildren, Addison and Bryce Allen, Alicia and Erica Coker, and Dylan and Khloe Porras
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert “Bob” Neal and Kermit “Bill” Spera; and sisters, Pauline Clancy and Margery “Margie” Kelly.
