BEDFORD -- Charlotte "Lottie" Richter Krupp, 74, of Bedford Texas died on the morning of March 7, 2016 at her home.
Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Thursday at St. Patrick Cathedral in Fort Worth with a Rosary to begin at 9:30 am. Rite of Committal will follow Mass at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the Ft. Worth Humane Society or Legacy Boxer Rescue.
Lottie was born September 12, 1941 in Covington, Kentucky to Russ and Charlotte Richter. She attended the University of Kentucky, was married and the mother of three children and Granny to 7 grandkids.
Lottie had an outgoing, affirming and witty personality. The game of bridge played a large part in Lottie's life. She played in the American Contract Bridge League and played twice a week at the Fort Worth Bridge Studio. Lottie achieved the rank of Ruby Life Master. She was a member of Mensa and enjoyed world traveling. She had a special fondness for Africa.
Her boxers Mr. Kane and Shana were precious to her. She especially enjoyed Christmas and gift giving. She was a proud Roman Catholic and fan of the University of Kentucky.
Known as Lottie, Mom or Granny she was a beautiful person inside and out, she will be deeply missed. We love you Mom.
Lottie was preceded in death by her parents, and by her son, Michael Aaron Krupp and Mr. Kane..
Survivors: Children, Gerry Krupp and wife Angela; Abby Krupp and husband Robert Brown; daughter in law, Laura Shoup; her grandkids, Nicholas Shoup, Erin Ditman, Nathan Krupp, Natalie Krupp, Alex Ditman, Hope Ditman, Amanda Shoup; and great grandson, Ezra Shoup and beloved boxer, Shana.
