Chasity Christina Blackwell, resident of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Troy, Texas, passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 50 years. Chasity was born on September 14, 1974, in Longview, Texas, and lived in Longview, Burleson, Troy and Temple at different times throughout her life.
She was a graduate of Temple High School and a graduate of UMHB receiving a bachelor's degree. Chasity had a love of photography and made it her profession. She loved karaoke, snow skiing, water sports, golfing, music, and the feeling of her spirit riding free on her Harley Davidson motorcycle. Chasity was bright, wonderful, big hearted, loving, and genuine. She loved her family and friends fiercely and was a loving mother to her two children. She attended Fountains Fellowship Church in Crowley and enjoyed taking part in toy drives during the holidays, arts and crafts, and scrapbooking. She was a proud member of FFA and participated in showing animals in the stock show.
She is survived by husband Adam Blackwell; children Gavin Blackwell (and wife Madeline), Ella Blackwell, and Julian Blackwell; grandchildren Wylie and Blayze Blackwell, granddaughter due in March; bonus brother, Shannon Jistel; parents Ila Breedlove Jistel and husband Clyde of Troy, Texas, Kenneth Ratley and wife Ulana of Bedford, Texas; and mother-in-law Iris Elaine Cosper and husband Rusty. She was preceded in death by Ila Breedlove Odom, James Breedlove, Gladys and George Ratley, Julian Blackwell, and TB and Darlene Rutherford.
