Cheryl Gorman, 68, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 In Fort Worth, TX. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Cheryl was born on May 6, 1951 in Emporia, KS to Marie and Clarence Baysinger.

Cheri enjoyed traveling with her husband, Lee. She loved spending time with her daughters, son-in-laws and four grandchildren.

Cheri graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1969 and from Baker University in 2000 with a degree in Business.
Her most notable work was with children as a volunteer for CASA. Her dedication resulted in her appointment as a tri-county volunteer coordinator for 5 years. Cheri's love for children was evident through her amazing work and advocacy.

Cheri is survived by her husband of 34 years, John Lee Gorman of Keller, TX; 3 daughters, Amy Church and husband Tom of Fort Worth, TX, Melanie Baldwin and husband Josh of Lawrence, KS, Courtney Meriwether and husband Wyatt of Independence, MO; 4 grandchildren, Nick Church, Kyra Baldwin, Owen Church and Eisley Baldwin; 3 siblings, Joan Patterson of Arvada, CO, Juanita Facklam of Lyndon, KS and Clarence M. Baysinger of Emporia, KS

There will be a private memorial service on February 22, 2020. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to one of these organizations:
