Christi Renee Berry

On Sunday, March 17th, Christina Renee Berry went home to be with her Lord and Savior.

On October 7th, 1969, Michael Wherland and Ruby Katherine (Davis) Wherland welcomed their 1st child, a baby girl, Christina Renee, to the world. Christi was a joy to her parents besides the occasional "whatever, mom" lol, she was not just a good daughter but also a good student. She attended the magnet program at FW Polytechnic HS and continued her education at the University of Texas-Arlington. Throughout her adult life she always worked hard for the companies she worked for and was a superstar with Fidelity and Bank of America! She was proud of her hard work and the people that she worked with were some of her most important friends in the world.

In March of 2010, she met Aaron (Bull) Prough of Euless TX and they were together for the final 14 years of her life. Bull and Christi were two peas in a pod. They traveled the country and always made sure to take their friends with them. On October 10th, 2017, they were married in Lake Tahoe at the Montblu in a small service overlooking the lake!

Christi is survived by her husband Aaron 'Bull' Prough, her father Michael Wherland, her mother Ruby Katherine Rider, brother and SIL Greg (Gillian) Wherland, 3 nephews Justin (Ruthie), Donovan and Logan Wherland, uncles, cousins and many many loving friends.

Christi was preceded in death by her 1st husband Douglas Berry, Grandparents, Arnold and Audrey Davis, William Wherland and Ladelle Smith, Father in Law Jeff Prough, her Aunt and Uncles, and cousin, David Evans.

There will be a Memorial service for Christi Saturday March 30th at 1pm at the Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
