Christine Adele Cleger Gutierrez

Christine Adele Gutierrez was born on December 12, 1990 and called home November 23, 2023. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Alexander and Becky. She graduated from Richland High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in communication from The University of Tennessee. She married her one true love, Christopher Gutierrez on November 19, 2017 in true New Orleans style, with an epic second line. Summit was welcomed a year later, and Selah blessed the lives of the family in February 2023.

Christy had unwavering faith and shared her love for her Savior with all in her path. She faced her cancer journey with trust, even giving birth at home despite many challenges. On her last day, her faith remained strong, knowing her Savior would restore her.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher; son, Summit; and daughter, Selah. Her father, Alexander Cleger; mother, Becky Barrett (Joe); brother, Alex Cleger (Courtney); nieces, Kenleigh and Vera Cleger; and step-brother, Tristan. Grandparents, Angela Cleger and Randall Hart, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by Juan Cleger, grandfather and Georgia Hart, grandmother.
