Christopher Ryan Villarreal, age 28, of Hurst, Texas, was called home to be with the Lord on June 3rd, 2021. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on February 9th, 1993 to parents William Christopher and Kimberly Charlene Gardner Villarreal. Chris grew up in Hurst and Watauga, Texas and graduated from high school in Keller, Texas in 2011. He worked for 13 years as an architectural sheet metal mechanic with his father. His daughter, Charlee Rose Villarreal, born on October 28th, 2015, was the light of his life. He loved spending time with his daughter, caring for their dog (Stevie Ray Bones), making people laugh with his jokes, listening to all genres of music, and enjoying the company of his family and friends. Chris never met a stranger; he left an impact on whoever he met. He will be remembered by those who love him for his kindness, his infectious laugh and warm smile, his humor and quirky antics, his empathetic and caring personality, and for being a loving father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.
He is survived by his daughter Charlee Rose Villarreal (mother, Haley Cortright); parents, William Christopher Villarreal and Kimberly Charlene Gardner Villarreal; brother, Cody Wade Villarreal (wife, Taylor Forsythe Villarreal); sister, Brittany Diane Villarreal (fiancé, Joel Brolin); niece, Naomi Brolin; nephews, Ayden Brolin and Rex Brolin; grandparents, Merced “Pa-D” Duarte, Elaine Villarreal, Sue Gardner; maternal aunts, Vickie Rocamontes (husband, Rocky Rocamontes), Penny Youngblood (husband, H.A. Youngblood), Patricia Fowler (husband, Jerry Fowler), Heather Workman (husband, David Workman), great aunt Linda Freeny (husband, Tom Freeny); maternal cousins, Aaron Woods, Amanda Rocamontes, Andrew Rocamontes, Shelby Youngblood, Bella Workman, Lexy Workman, Parker Workman, Christopher Perteet, and Stephen Gerber; paternal uncles, Charles “Cliffe” Villarreal Jr., Nicholas “Ceith” Villarreal (wife, Tammy Villarreal), Greg Villarreal (wife, Heidi Villarreal), Charles “Chuck” Villarreal III, and great uncle Jimmy Villarreal Sr. (wife, Rebecca Villarreal); paternal second cousin Jimmy Villarreal Jr. (wife, Audra Villarreal) and many, many more loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Edna “Mommy Edna” Scott, grandmother, Louise “Mamaw” Duarte; grandfather, Charlie “Popaw” Gardner; grandfather, Charles “Grampa” Villarreal; cousin, Jessica Youngblood; cousin, Bre Villarreal Wilson; and cousin Kaleb Freeny.
The visitation service will be held on Thursday June 10th, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Lucas Funeral Home (Hurst) with a funeral service to be held the following day - Friday, June 11th at 2:00 PM.
