Christopher Tye Wemmer passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday December 17, 2016 at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8 pm. Chris will be laid to rest at 11:15 am Monday, December 19th, at The Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Chris graduated from Keys High School in Euless in 2002. He proudly served his country for 5 years in the United States Navy. Chris worked in fleet service at American Airlines and was attending Aviation Institute in Irving. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and dog Jack. Some of Chris' hobbies included visiting pool halls, going to concerts, and working out. Chris could normally be found in a Texas Rangers baseball cap. He loved the Cowboys and Mavericks, just as much as the Rangers. Chris was a proud Texan.
He is survived by his father, Ronny Wemmer; mother, Brenda Haberman and husband, Steve; sister, Renee Wemmer Loredo and husband, Alex and their children, Destiny, Ashton, and Ethan; step-sister, Mari Taylor and husband, Darren and their son Finn; girlfriend, Suzy Markham; and many other extended family and friends.
