Chucky Lane Sharp

February 28, 1951 — January 7, 2024

Chucky Lane Sharp, 72, passed away at home on January 7, 2024 peacefully in his sleep. He was born on February 28, 1951 to Zelmia and Walter Sharp in Detroit, Michigan. He lived most of his life in Streetsboro, Ohio where he attended Streetsboro High School with his five younger siblings Ralph, Randy, Jamie, Judy, and Donnie. He also met the love of his life, Claudette Sharp, in his sophomore year and her freshman year of high school. Chuck graduated high school in 1969. After high school, the sweethearts were married in 1976 where they then moved to Stow, Ohio where they raised their daughter, Danielle. In 2009, He and Claudette moved to Fort Worth, Texas to watch his granddaughters grow up.

Following in his fathers footsteps, Chuck worked at Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg, Ohio until retirement where he got the opportunity to work alongside his three brothers and made many friends. Throughout his life if you didn't know where he was, you could probably find him on the golf course. He made many friends on the course that he remained close to throughout the rest of his life.

Chuck loved his family more than anything. He was married to Claudette for forty seven years, they are the most pure of soulmates. He was so overwhelmingly proud of his daughter, Danielle, with all she has overcome with her epilepsy and truly looked up to her all throughout her life. He is thankful for his son in law, Jeff, for his past, present, and future support of Chucky’s wife, daughter, and granddaughters. Although, the most important sparkles in his life are his granddaughters, Zoie & Reagan. He loved them with his entire soul, and his greatest accomplishment was being their Popi.

Chuck was known for having a bright personality, enormous heart, a giving and hardworking man, warrior, but most of all humble and brave. He lived a fun, venturous, and rambunctious life. He is survived by his wife, Claudette, his daughter, Danielle, his son-in-law, Jeff, and his two granddaughters Zoie & Reagan.
