Cielo D Balberan

August 3, 1965 — November 25, 2023

Cielo D. Balberan, aged 58 of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on November 25th, 2023 at Kindred Hospital in Arlington, Texas. Cielo battled kidney cancer since 2017, it was not an easy ride. He fought so hard to conquer this sickness. He don’t want chemotherapy as per doctor’s advised. He did his own research and do plant based therapy from New Zealand he got remission …until 2021 when he got Covid everything changed drastically. His cancer go back … no other option but to do chemo. All agony starts from then on til he died.

Cielo Balberan was born August 3rd, 1965 to a loving parents Mamerta (Doydora) and Anecito Balberan in Phillips Bukidnon, Philippines. 2 brothers Bernie and Druel. He is an Electrical Engineer. Cielo’s career centered around engineering field with power plant installations. Recently he worked for Poly-America here in Texas as an industrial electrician.

Cielo married the love of his life, Jacqueline Millana, October 25th, 1995, and together they raise 3 daughters. Cheenie, Nicole , Cielin. Cielin and Nicole had their nursing degree in Phil’s. As a religious man. Cielo often attended church with his mother in Kawayanon. Mother perpetual help church. He love to sing and strum the guitars for hours. That’s his hobby. Cielo loved cars, both in restoration and repair. He was known as Dr. Cielo with cars. He is good in diagnosing cars defects. Without a son to traditionally carry on his legacy, Cielo loving taught his daughters how to maintain their own vehicles. Cielo’s most cherished memories were of the times he spent with his family. They would heading out to the off-roading even in Moab, Utah, off road capital in America. He loves driving. The family also went on several long travel vacation trip . Together the family traveled many states in the United States and visited every state except 3 (Alaska, Hawaii, Illinois). Cielo was a man of few words. Loving, strict and kind to his daughters. His greatest wish was that his girls were successful and happy. Til his death bed his utmost concern in well being of his family. If given more time and chance to live longer he said confiding in his wife, he would focus on the Lord and spend more time volunteering in the church. But it was not to be His will.

Cielo is deeply loved and will be missed terribly. Rest well now Cielo . Rest eternally with our lord in heaven. Maayong paglakaw… Give our love and hugs to our love ones in heaven . One of his favorite things to say is now a legacy for his family: Remember to breath, and never take shortcuts.

A visitation and funeral service will be held for Cielo Balberan on Friday, December 1st, 2023 starting at 3 o’clock p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, located at 1601 S. Main St in Keller, Texas. Cielo will be returning to the Philippines with his family to a final resting place.
