Cindi Holt

February 15, 1953 — November 25, 2021

Cindi Holt, age 68, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, in her Ft. Worth home, surrounded by her family.

Cindi was born February 15, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to Jo Ann (Moody) and Duane (Dude) Williams. She attended school in the Dallas Independent School District, graduating from Bryan Adams High School in 1971. Cindi was very successful in the insurance industry, working for National Health Insurance for many years and most recently working as Director of Agent Onboarding and Appointments at United Healthcare. Cindi epitomized dedication and determination. Having worked continuously since she was 15 years old, Cindi’s work ethic was one to be admired and praised. Through her work, she made life-long friends who became like family and were a cherished part of her life. Cindi’s legacy of hard work can best be seen in her children, April and Ben, whose accomplishments and careers made her a proud mom.

Cindi loved her family fiercely and especially loved being a Mimi. When she wasn’t planning family holidays or traveling to see her granddaughters, she would often be found at Winstar, playing slot machines. She loved to treat her friends, children, and sisters to a night of eating, gambling, and attending concerts at the casino. Cindi had a heart of gold and was a kind, generous friend to all. She will be greatly missed.

Cindi is survived by her daughter, April (Holt) and husband Stephen May of Ft. Worth, TX; her son Ben and wife Bridget (Powers) Holt of Woodstock, GA; granddaughters Evie and Sophie; sisters Judy (Williams) Smith of Garland, TX, Jerri (Williams) and husband David Galyon of Simms, TX; brother Terry and wife Lee Ann Williams of McKInney, TX; her aunt Jackie (Moody) and husband Elton Cagle of Swansea, SC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved dearly.

Cindi was preceded in death by her parents Jo Ann and Dude Williams; her maternal grandparents Fannie and Jesse Moody; paternal grandparents Billie and Charles Williams; and aunt Joy (Baldwin) Goodgame.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on December 4, 2021, at Eagle’s View Church in Ft. Worth, TX.
