Clara Byrne Daily

February 4, 1937 — June 10, 2017

Clara Byrne Arnold Daily, 1937 – 2017, age 80, died peacefully on June 10, 2017. She was born
February 4, 1937, in Hillsboro, Texas, to Allen and Ione Swartz Arnold.
At age 12, she met the man who would become her lifelong sweetheart, Marvin Daily. They
married on July 7, 1956, and would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary next month. During
their 60+ years together, they built a thriving business, Unico Fabrication, and Clara made a lasting
impact in her community through acts of service in her churches, Temple Baptist and Messiah Baptist, as
well as at Southside Lions Club, South Side Lady Lions Club, school PTA programs, room mom, school
carnivals, and anyplace else she could contribute.
Clara loved to love on her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, or anyone’s
children. Clara was blessed with a servant’s heart, and her true passion was for kids – as a mother both
to her own six children and to the countless others whose lives she touched. Clara never met a stranger
– whether it was the teller at the bank, the cashier at the grocery store, or the person behind her in line,
she could always strike up a conversation and make that person feel special.
Later in life, Clara was faced with the devastating diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. Even in the face of
this terrible disease, Clara continued to show love and bring joy to those around her.
Clara is survived by her husband, Wallace Marvin Daily, and her beloved Yorkie, Bella; her
children, Ken Daily and wife Pam, Kem Kidwell and husband B.D., Karen Stewart and husband Mike,
Kelvin Daily, Krist Roan and husband Kenny, and Kathy Morgan and husband Marshall; 15 grandchildren,
Allyson Kidwell-Prindle, Jarod Daily, Adam Stewart, Autumn Kidwell, Jeffrey Stewart, Austen Kidwell,
Jacob Roan, Blake Morgan, John Daily, Taylor Morgan, Joshua Daily, Tanner Roan, Tatum Roan, Sydney
Morgan, and Cole Morgan; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and
seven siblings.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 14, from 6pm – 8pm at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line
Rd, Hurst, Texas, 76053. Funeral service is Thursday, June 15, 10am at Lucas Funeral Home. Interment is
Thursday, June 15, 2pm at Ridge Park Cemetery, 410 N. Thompson St., Hillsboro, Texas.
