Claude Craker better known as “Gene” was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 18, 1960. The family moved to Ozark, Missouri. He graduated from Ozark, High School and attended Southern Missouri University and studied Communications and Media Studies.He moved to Texas and assisted in opening several Video Stores where he was recognized as having the personality and work ethics required to be a flight attendant. Gene started flying for American Airlines in October of 1988 and flew for 35 years.
He enjoyed movie collectables and built a large inventory of film used costumes and gadgets. He dreamed of opening a video store in combination with a museum showcasing costumes and memorabilia used in films. Gene was well known as a “Trekie” and his collection reflected this fascination.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, a sister, Ann Schultz and her husband Kim, and niece, Jenn Schultz Simmons, her husband Brent and their two children, Des and Fiona.
