Clayton Allen Boyd, of Burleson, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Clayton was a man of deep religious faith and many artistic talents. He served as a deacon at both First Baptist Church of Burleson and Bethesda Baptist Church. He was a former city councilman and mayor of Burleson. He was active in the Burleson Heritage Foundation and in many musical and art groups in the Burleson and Johnson County area. Clayton was an accomplished builder, helping to build several churches in Johnson County.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, two daughters-in-law, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
