BEDFORD -- Cliffair Pearce Lummus, 90, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 14, 2013.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday in Lucas Funeral Chapel in Hurst. Interment: 4 p.m. in Richland Springs Cemetery, Richland Springs. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Cliffair, the daughter of Raymond E. and Irva Ford Pearce, was born June 6, 1922, in Shiloh community, San Saba County. She was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class at North Pointe Baptist Church. She retired as executive secretary of the National Boy Scouts of America.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Wilburne Earl Lummus, in 1991.

Survivors: Daughters, Carolyn Mebus and husband, Don, and Betty Davis and husband, Dale; grandchildren, Patricia Hoffman and husband, Jared, Lonnie Jordan and wife, Laura, Dusti Boring and husband, Erik; and great-grandchildren, Samuel and Hannah Hoffman, Nathan, Andy, Ellie Jordan, Audri and Jordan Boring.
