Clifford H. Taylor, 84, of Rushville, formerly of Texas, passed away August 2, 2015 in Rush Memorial Hospital, Rushville.
Services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, where friends are welcome to visit from 11 AM until time of service that day.
Burial will be private on August 10 at the Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless, TX. Military honors will be provided at the mortuary by the Rush County Veteran's Honor Guard.
He was born March 8, 1931 in Lebanon, MO to Harold Taylor & Katherine (Johnson) Taylor Edens. Clifford spent his early life in Cass County, IN where he was a 1950 graduate of Twelve Mile High School. He entered the USAF after school and served in the Korean War. He married Shirley Sherman on December 4, 1955 and she passed away in 1998.
Clifford lived in Texas from 1974-2010 when he moved to Rushville, IN to be near his daughter.
He worked many years as an executive search & recruiter. He also was in the insurance business many years. He enjoyed playing golf, boating & fishing.
He is survived by daughters, Vicky & husband Kevin DeWitte of Rushville, Stephanie & husband Greg Rossi of Highland Village, TX, sons, Greg & wife Julie Taylor of North Richland Hills, TX and Steven Taylor of Dallas, TX, brothers, Max Taylor & wife Sandy of N.C., Thomas Taylor & wife Carol and Jack Taylor all of IN, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
