Clyde Marlin Browning, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 18, 2018. He will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to all who knew and loved him. His faith in the Lord never faltered, and he followed in the steps of the Lord all his life.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Bourland Cemetery, Keller, Texas.
Visitation will be Monday, November 26, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Lucas Funeral Home.
Clyde was born in Keller, Texas on March 1, 1923. He lived his entire life in Keller, until moving to Burleson, Texas to be closer to family in 2015. After serving in the Army in World War II, he returned home to Keller where he spent his life farming. He also used his knowledge of farm equipment to work as a mechanic at the former Saginaw Implement Company.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor, who passed after 30 years of marriage. He is preceded by his second wife, Mary Margaret, who passed after 40 years of marriage.
He is survived by son, Richard Browning (Sharon), daughter Carla Smith (Gerhart), Stepson, Marc Dandois (Pearl), Stepson Michael Dandois (Beth). 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
His greatest joy was his family. Special thanks are given to his caregivers and loving friends from the Elk Creek Assisted Living Home.
