Colette Lampe Moeller, 83, of Keller, Texas passed away on March 17th, 2022. Colette was born to Margeret Jacobsmeier Lampe and Leonard Lampe on February 19th, 1939 in Houghton, Iowa. She graduated from St. John’s Catholic School in Houghton, Iowa, then furthered her education by graduating from the Mercy School of Nursing in Burlington, Iowa. Colette married the love of her life, Gerald Moeller, on October 13th 1962. Together they raised four children Kim, Kelly, Kevin, and Kara.
Colette was a natural nurturer and loved being with friends and family alike.
Prior to starting a family of her own, Colette worked at the Mental Health Institute in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. After having children, she stopped working and devoted her time to helping those throughout her community. She volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister at a nursing home and also volunteered at a local thrift store in Carrollton, TX. While in Lindale, TX she volunteered at the city library.
Colette cherished being surrounded by family and passed, as she lived, with her loved ones around her.
Colette is preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Leonard Lampe; Sisters, Rosemary Cary, Carol Wiseman; Son-in-law, Jim Jones. She is survived by husband of 59 years Gerald; her children, Kim Martinez, Kelly Moeller and spouse Mark Kusman, Kevin Moeller and spouse Barb Moeller, Kara Jones; Grandchildren, Adam and Alex Martinez, Zachary, Alyson, Hannah, and Julia Jones; Nine siblings, Outlaws and many nieces and nephews.
Colette's funeral will be held April 22nd at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, Texas. It will start with a Rosary at 10 a.m. followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Her burial will be conducted at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
