Cory Don Fancher

Cory Don Fancher passed away Tuesday February 13, 2018 in Keller.

Services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 S. Main, Keller.

Cory was born on November 2, 1971 to Celia and Ted Fancher in Amarillo.
Cory graduated from Randall High School in 1990 and attended West Texas State University and Texas Tech University. Cory worked for Rent-A-Center in Amarillo, Arlington, Houston and Hurst. He later worked for Flexi Compras in Dallas and was currently President and Managing Partner of his own chain of stores for Buddy’s Home Furnishings.
Cory met Traci Head in 1994 and traveled to Europe together in 1995 and were later married in 2001. The couple lived in The Woodlands and started their family there before moving to Keller in 2006. They have three beautiful children, Jack, age 15, Luke, age 13 and Sloane, age 9. Cory’s greatest treasure was the life he built with Traci and their kids. It was easy to see that Cory wasn’t complete until he started his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Nita Fancher and Velma Gamblin and Gurnell Gamblin.

Cory is survived by his wife, Traci; his two sons, Jack and Luke; daughter, Sloane; his parents, Celia Fancher and Ted Fancher; sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Johnny Kinzy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Jeanette Head; sister-in-laws Tommi Head and Susan White; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, BJ and Julie Head; nephews and nieces, Jud and Ally Kinzy, Kyleigh Head, and Brooks and Bennett Head and countless extended family and friends who love him and his family.
