Craig Bruce Sr. unexpectedly passed away on August 15, 2021; he was 62 years old.
Craig, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, was a proud husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many.
He was a long time resident of Fort Worth, Texas and lived there at the time of his death.
Craig worked for the Federal Government for over 35 years. Most of that time was spent with the General Services Administration in Fort Worth as an IT Specialist.
Craig was born on December 8, 1958 in Los Angeles, CA.
Craig had many passions. He loved reading books, playing golf, fishing, traveling, and watching his favorite TV shows. He was a lifelong athlete and enjoyed watching all sports as well as playing them. He especially enjoyed watching the Raiders play football and never wavered as a fan even in their worst years.
Craig had a passion for life and wholeheartedly cherished every minute of the day. He had the best laugh and he laughed freely and often. His smile would light up an entire room and he always made everyone feel welcome, special, and important.....and he truly believed everyone was. He gave the best hugs that made you feel loved and safe and he gave them out freely.
Craig was a kind and loving partner to his wife Vickie, as well as an amazing father to his son Craig Jr. (Maria). Craig cherished any time he could spend with his son whether it be hanging out by the pool or watching sports but he especially enjoyed their time on the golf course together.
Craig married Vickie November 21, 2006 and in doing so acquired three daughters who he loved unconditionally. When grandchildren came along, he became the best "C Pop" anyone could ask for and enjoyed buying things and doting on the kids before sending them home.
Craig is survived by wife Vickie; son Craig Jr.; bonus daughters, Stacie, Christie, and Kayla Fisher; grandchildren McKenna, McKenzie, Mason, and Michael Zaghloul, father and mother Ommer and Mary (Roquemore) Bruce; sister Jackie, brothers Ommer Eugene, Gerald and Derek Bruce.
They invite you to join them for a celebration of life.
