Roger Craig Daniels, 53, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, after a valiant fight with cancer.
Funeral: 10am, Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Keller with burial to follow at Bourland Cemetery in Keller.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in Craig's name.
Craig was a gift from God on Oct. 23, 1961, in Midland, Mich.
Craig graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Craig worked for Liquid Environmental Solutions, Inc. of Irving.
Craig was an excellent athlete and excelled in both baseball and golf. He remained an avid fan of both games and on most days could be found rooting for "his" Rangers and Cowboys. He was a self-taught gourmet cook and loved nothing more than planning and preparing a meal for his children, especially on their annual vacations to the beach.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Powell Smith; and grandparents, Henry and Murvel Daniels.
Survivors: His children, Bryan Craig Daniels and Sarah Elizabeth Daniels, both of Fort Worth; his parents, Roger and Judith Daniels of Katy; brother, Phillip (Vicki) Daniels of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and their children, Emily and Grant; and his beloved grandmother, Ardith Smith of Houston.
