Cynthia Ann Bryant

HURST -- Cynthia Ann Bryant, 79, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Legacy Church of Christ, 8801 Mid Cities Blvd., North Richland Hills 76182. Burial will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst.
Cynthia was born to J.B. and Pauline Cochran in Ada, Okla., on Feb. 10, 1936. She passed away Thursday, July 16, at home.
Cynthia earned a B.A. in music education from East Central State College in Oklahoma. She completed her M.Ed. at UNT. She taught private piano lessons for many years, and spent 22 years teaching in Perryton and in H-E-B schools. She was recognized as the Teacher of the Year at Donna Park Elementary in 1983.
She was an active member of Pipeline Road and Legacy Church of Christ where she worked with the quilting group, the Wedding Singers, visitation group and the food pantry.
Survivors: Her loving husband of 57 years, Gary; sister, Judy; son, Barry and wife, Maria, and their children, Jennifer and Sarah; daughter, Leslie and husband, Brian, and their children, Caleb, Erin and Jeb; and a host of dear friends.
