Cynthia was born on September 12, 1971 to Gloria and Lloyd Merry in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. She was a most kind and caring friend to everyone. Cynthia love to create a calm and positive environment and wanted her home to be a safe and happy place. She was a mother first and family was her top priority.
Cynthia loved to travel, especially in the car with "her boys." She had many road trips to small towns across Texas. Her ability to "just go" and find "someplace" made for amazing last minute trips. One of her favorites to visit was the beach.
She always put others before herself. Cynthia would routinely invite people over for neighborhood gatherings. She was an "A+" volunteer and could always be relied upon to fill in the gap. Cynthia was also legendary for creating "experiences" surrounding birthdays and holidays such as Christmas. Events were a huge part of her life and she never shied away from a party, cook-out, playdates, or a chance to sit on the back porch and make smores.
Cynthia made others feel like they were the most important. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in passing by her father, Lloyd Merry.
Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Bill Gardner; son, Brett Gardner; mother, Gloria Merry; brother, Steve Merry; and other loving family and friends.
