D R "Bud" Kirkland

BULLHEAD CITY, ARIZ. -- D.R. "Bud" Kirkland, 82, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, surrounded by family and friends after a battle with cancer.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday, March 24, in Bourland Cemetery in Keller. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller.
Bud was born Feb. 5, 1932, to G.W. and Meda Fern Helm Kirkland in Keller. He had resided in Arizona with his wife for the last 30 years.
Bud was preceded in death by one daughter, one granddaughter, his parents and two brothers.
Survivors: Wife of 48 years, Velma; two sons; one daughter; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.
