Damon Kendall Wilson

Damon Kendall Wilson went to be with his Savior on August 18, 2019, in the presence of the Lord and his wife.

Damon was born on March 6, 1960 in Los Angeles, California to Herbert W. and Ruby Wilson.

Damon was truly a global citizen and friend to many. He joined the military at the age of 17 and was stationed in Germany. Damon lived in Colorado, Wisconsin and Chicago but made his home in Texas. He was a carpenter by trade but later earned his degree in Information Technology.

His friends and family knew him as the man who could fix anything. It was said of him “He was the best darn carpenter one has ever seen.” Damon loved the Lord, served his country, loved his family and preached the Gospel everywhere he went.

Damon is preceded in death by his father, Herbert W. Wilson, brother, Michael Hammonds and son, Rafael Wilson.

Damon is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jean Bass Wilson, 7 Siblings, 5 Children, 7 Grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Surviving Siblings: Sharyn Hammonds Hughes, Inzia Miller, Donna Hammonds, Miriam Coté, Herbert Wilson, Gwendolyn Wilson and June Wilson.
Surviving Children: Datisha Cormay Wilson, Tawnie Marie Fane and husband Jason, Damon Judah, Maya Marie Bass and Kendall Wilson.
Surviving Grandchildren: CJ Fane, Jason Malachi Fane, Bryce Marie Knox, Noah Jay Fane, Erica Rashawn Nichols, Christian Judah and Phoenix Olivia Oleva.
