Daniel Todd Arnold

November 15, 1971 — February 27, 2022

In the presence of his family in Hurst, Texas, Daniel Todd Arnold, 50, passed peacefully into the loving arms of His Father in heaven on Sunday, February 27th. Born November 15, 1971, to Anna Ruth Arnold and Curtis Lewis Arnold in Burnet, Texas, he was a Faithful Husband, Devoted Father, Beloved Son, a Dear friend, and touched the lives of all who knew him.

In November of 1995, he married his love, Cherish Heather; together they had two beautiful children: Madisyn Nicole and Mason Daniel. Todd’s pride was in his children; they were his heroes. He devoted much of his time to Madisyn and Mason and spent many days on the soccer field. He enjoyed all the excitement, from watching practices and games, to teaching them life lessons and pushing them to strive to do their best.

No one who met Todd will forget his infectious smile and passion for all things. He loved to learn, was rich in knowledge, and generous in sharing it with others. The simplest pleasures in life brought him great joy. He loved to uncover treasures, explore the unfound and saw beauty in all things and loved to journal about it. His zest for life and compassion for others was contagious, and he looked great in red!

Todd was a courageous entrepreneur, starting Goliath Pest Control, Inc and serving others well for many years. Todd loved spending time with his customers and educating them, as he had a soft heart and truly cared about people. Making sure they could afford service, he often bartered and blessed others. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a proud husband and father, bug enthusiast, humorist, and a champion of books and antiques.

Todd is survived by his faithful wife, Cherish Heather Arnold, daughter Madisyn Nicole Arnold, and son, Mason Daniel Arnold; Mother, Anna Ruth Arnold, and Father, Curtis Lewis Arnold; Brothers, Brett, Wes and Wife, Desiree, and Curtis and Wife, Jennifer. Also survived by Cherish’s Mother, Cathy and Husband Don Aldridge; her Father Pete and Wife, Charlotte Figueiredo; and Siblings, Chad and wife, Leslie; Cherilyn and Jessica; Nieces and Nephews, Devin, Delaney, Drake, Devon, Trey, Cameron, Taylon, Greenleigh and Bailey; Many Cousins and Friends, and an Amazing Group of Selfless Caregivers, including Sergio and Bendu.

The family will receive friends and family at one or all of the following:
The Viewing, Thursday, March 3rd, from 6-8 pm at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd in Hurst, TX 76053. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 4th, at 10:00 am, also at Lucas Funeral Home, and then a Burial in Burnet, TX following his service.

Cherish has recently found a love of gardening; if you would like to send flowers, she would be honored to have a plant to repurpose or replant in Todd’s memory.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the many heartfelt prayers and the way so many of you have gathered around their family to offer love and support in so many ways. They will be forever grateful.

Todd fought Long and Hard until his Lord and Savior called him home. He loved Cherish more than he was able to convey; her faithfulness till the end has ministered to the lives of so many. He was surely loved and will be missed dearly. Clinging to God’s unfailing promises, we know that we will see him again, completely restored – Someday in Heaven! “So with you: Now is your time of sorrow, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” - John 16:22
