Daniel "Danny" Harrison Hammond

Daniel Harrison Hammond was born on April 26th 1960 in Harrison, Arkansas to Lawrence Milton Hammond and Rachel Juanita Raley Hammond.

Danny died at his home in Fort Worth, Texas on December 12, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Rachel, and by his brother Brian Hammond.

Danny is survived by his brother, Blake Hammond, and also by his children ~ Alicia Zimmerman (Blake), Craig Hammond (Jeniffer), Kandice Rodriguez (Eric), Seraphie Hammond, and Morgan Cervantes (Arturo). Danny is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, many extended family members, loved ones, and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Danny’s life will be held on Saturday February 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Homes in Hurst, Texas located at 1321 Precinct Line Road Hurst, Texas 76053.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Pearl Harbor National Memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii in Danny’s honor. Danny visited the Pearl Harbor Memorial site and USS Arizona many times while working in Hawaii and it made such a lasting impression and impact on him. Danny respected and admired all those who served our country, and was passionate about honoring their memory.
