Daniel DuBois, age 51, born April 25, 1971 in Montgomery, Alabama and passed away June 24, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born to Mary Gant and James Martin DuBois.

Dan graduated from Columbia College with two bachelor degrees in Criminal Justice and Business.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a long time member of Northwood Church. He worked for Equipment Depot for 17 years and enjoyed his time there. He trained in Juijitsu for many years at Peak Performance Watauga and enjoyed hot yoga at Soul Sweat Hot Yoga in Fort Worth. He was a mentor with Academy 4 at West Birdville Elementary and was the founder of the Northwood Church Adventure Seekers Group.

Dan enjoyed paddle boarding, 4 wheelin, skydiving, Jujitsu, Taekwondo, mountain biking, hiking, triathlons, hot yoga, painting, scuba diving, snorkeling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Crystal DuBois; children, Danielle DuBois, Zack Castaneda and his wife, Lindsay, Natalie Pauling and her husband, Corey, Carly Castaneda, Abby Castaneda, Kaylee Castaneda and Zoe Castaneda; grandchildren, Savannah Pauling, Carter Castaneda, Sawyer Pauling and Emery Castaneda; mom, Nancy DuBois; brothers, Marty DuBois and his wife Olga, Mark DuBois, Billy DuBois, Bob DuBois and wife Lois; sisters, Leslie O'Brien and husband Dave, Cindy Nelson and husband J.D. and Winter Joy; father-in-law, Charles Campbell; mother-in-law, Elaine Campbell; brother-in-law, Scott Campbell and sister-in-law, Melissa Davidson; uncle, Rex DuBois and his wife Julie numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends for a visitation from 6 pm to 8 pm, Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Northwood Church, 1870 Rufe Snow Drive, Keller, Texas 76248. Pallbearers: Scott Campbell, Mark Collins, Gary Felts, Michael Hassel, Richard Humber, Tony Karpenko, Christopher King, Leroy Plymale, Robert "Cap" Shiflett and Jerry Smith.

Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 2:30 pm, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.

Memorial donations in Dan's name may be made to Northwood Church Security Team.
