Daniel Wayne Michael

Daniel Wayne Michael, 69, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Grapevine, Texas. Services for Daniel will be held at a later date in Birmingham, AL.
Daniel was born on May 23, 1951 to Frank and Sibyle Michael in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Ramsey High School then went on to received his BS Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University. Daniel then continued his education, and received his Doctorate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He practiced as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Birmingham for over 30 years before moving to Laurel, MS to continue his practice. Once Daniel decided to retire, he relocated to Dallas, Texas about a year ago.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sibyle Michael and his brother, Barry Michael.
He is survived by his wife, Erin Meehan; daughters, Callie Michael, Chesley Michael Suttles and her husband Lee Suttles II, Malory Michael and her fiancé George Campbell; son, Taylor Michael; step-daughter, Alexandra Meehan; step-son, John David Meehan; granddaughter, Sibyle Suttles; grandson, Lee Suttles III, and many more family and friends that love and will miss him.
