Daniel Thomas Overcash

Danny Overcash passed from this earth to his Heavenly home on November 19, 2020.
Daniel “Danny” Thomas Overcash was born on October 6, 1949 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Gertrude Marie Lydon Overcash and Earl Eugene Overcash. Danny was a graduate of Arlington High School and attended University of Texas at Arlington where he played on their first official baseball team. Danny also proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He retired from H.M. Dunn Aerospace where he worked as a program manager. He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was also a proud Texas Ranger baseball fan.
Danny was a Christian with strong faith in Jesus Christ. He believed in prayer and was often praying for his family, friend, and nation.
Mr. Overcash is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memories and celebrate his life are his wife, Susan Overcash of Hurst, TX; daughters, Angela Overcash of North Richland Hills and Amanda Overcash of Hurst; grandchildren, Daniel Bailes, Dillon Bailes, and Aliya Kershaw; brother, Earl Overcash, Jr and wife, Susan of North Richland Hills as well as two nephews, John Overcash and Jarod Overcash and their families.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Lucas Funeral Home located at 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76053 followed by interment with military honors at Smithfield Cemetery in North Richland Hills.
The family requests that in Danny’s honor that attendees wear their Texas Ranger Jersey, T-shirts and fan gear.
