In loving memory of our strong, fearless & courageous Danny Lynn White, who passed away on the morning of February 18, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Perryton, Texas on September 13, 1954, to the parents of Jannie Vietta Kropp and Andrew Robert White.
He is survived by his supporting, loving wife of 50 years, and graceful caregiver, Cynthia Diane White, and their four daughters: Roberta (Frederick), Denice (Manuel), Stacy (Gerald), and Christy (Johnathan). Danny is also a loving grandfather to nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He proudly joined the United States Marine Corps on March 22, 1972, with a strong desire to serve his country. He ranked Sergeant and held positions of Artillery Maintenance Foreman and Track Vehicle Repairman. On June 29, 1973, he eagerly married the love of his life, Cynthia Diane Carder.
Danny was a small business owner and had many passions, some of which included: competing in the International Karate Championship Black Belt Division, an avid hunter, a talented artist, natural guitarist, motorcyclist and a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. Above all, he held his family dearest to his heart.
Danny was always up for a challenge. He fearlessly accepted a heart transplant on February 7, 1993, from the University of Missouri Hospital. He was later the President of the MSU Heart Transplant Association, where he persevered through helping families in their time of need.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother (Lillie May Pope), grandfather (Bud Howard Kropp), grandmother (Zille May Porter), grandfather (Robert Orlando White), father (Andrew Robert White), mother (Jannie Vietta Kropp), brother (Tommy Lane White), and grandson (Demetryus Dominek Orellana).
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, four daughters, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four brothers: Rickey White (Roberta), Johnny White (April), Ronney White (Mary), Kenneth Walden, Jr. and a host of loving relatives and friends.
