Danny Lee Yarborough

Danny Yarborough, of Justin, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Danny will always be remembered as an amazing Dad and proud Papa, a truly good and honest friend, and one of the biggest and most loyal Jacksonville Jaguars’ fans ever.

Danny was born on February 16, 1954 and grew up in Boise City, Oklahoma until joining the US Navy after high school. He lived in Jacksonville, Florida after honorable discharge from service where he worked for many years at Transamerica Leasing. He relocated with his family to Justin, TX in 2006 and was employed by Caliber Information Systems as an Equipment Inspector at BNSF Alliance.

Danny is preceded in death by his mother, Bea Brown, and daughter, Nikki Yarborough. He is survived by spouse, Aleshia, daughter, Megan Hull (Matt), son, Ryan Yarborough (Gabby), granddaughter, Maggie Hull, sister, Sue Travis, and lifelong best-friends/brothers, Michael and Richard Vassios.

The family will receive guests wishing to remember and celebrate Danny’s life from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Lucas Funeral Home 1601 S. Main St. Keller, Texas 76248. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a contribution in memory of Danny to a charity of your choice.
