Darlene Catherine Fletcher

Darlene Catherine Howard, 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio, went to be with the Lord after her brave battle with cancer on July 21, 2017, at her home in Hurst, Texas. Darlene was born to Cordie Mae (Needels) Badgley on July 22, 1941.
Darlene was a person of faith and lived life serving others, a tireless and selfless volunteer in her church's Outreach Missionary House. She taught her family and friends to persist in the face of many struggles and to trust in God who gives us love and support when we need it. Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of her kind, generous spirit and her love of God will live on through them.
Darlene is preceded in death by her mother, Cordie Mae Badgley and step father, Lou Badgley; brothers Denis Howard and Larry Badgley.She is survived by her sister, Diane Liming; her former husband, Chester Fletcher; children, Catherine Webb, Chester Fletcher, Jr. ,Christina Jacobson, Steven Fletcher and Charles Fletcher; 13 grandchildren and 20 great- grandchildren.
Services will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst, Texas on July 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Gregg Morgan, of Gateway Church, officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service, from 12 - 2 p.m. Graveside services will be in Neville, Ohio at Neville Vesper Cemetery.
Our loving mother will be missed but not forgotten until we meet again in Heaven. Her wonderful memories will live on in the hearts of all she shared her life with.
Her family would like to thank her many caregivers who assisted her during this most difficult journey.
