Darlene Walker, from Watauga, Texas was born on April 18, 1962, and passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024. She will be lovingly remembered for her love of music as she was a true music enthusiast, her deep dedication to her family and friends, her true love for animals and a diligent work ethic. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, laughter, adventurous spirit, unique sense of style and spectacular dance skills.
Darlene was born in Fall River, Massachusetts to Donald Francis Pacheco and Hilaria Alpuche Pacheco. She attended Richland High School and later pursued a passion for music working at her father’s music store for many years, then became a customer service representative at Tom Thumb with her love of helping others.
Darlene is now reunited in heaven with, parents Donald Francis Pacheco and Hilaria Alpuche, brother David Anthony Pacheco, husband Mark Orachie Walker and dog Kesha.
She is survived by Sandy (her loving dog), Siblings, Donnie Pacheco and wife Nancy, Richard and wife, Sharon, Donna Rice and husband, Paul; Mark’s daughter Brandy Bea, Mother in-law Lydia Baise, Sisters and brother’s in-law Vickie Gotcher and husband, Cary, Robin Rowland and husband, Joe, Henry Walker and wife, Pam; with several nephews and nieces who will cherish her memory forever. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
The three amigo’s Kathy, Karmen and Darlene were always getting into trouble whether it was on vacation or at Rod Stewart concerts. They were more than friends for 43 years; they were family by choice supporting each other through life’s trials and triumphs with unwavering loyalty and love.
Darlene has been reunited with her beloved husband Mark, while Mark has been dancing in heaven with Kesha patiently waiting for Darlene to join the heavenly party, they are now walking hand and hand and playing together for eternity.
A gathering of family and friends will be held April 18, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line, Hurst, Texas 76053.
