Darwin Lee Childs

Darwin was born in Detroit Michigan on March 7, 1947 to Marjorie and Hugh Childs. As a young man he joined the Air Force and served our country from June 25th 1965 until April 24th 1974. He fought proudly in the Vietnam War and continued to serve for several years. He worked for many years in the insurance business in Florida. Darwin is survived by his lovely wife Marilyn Childs, 3 Children Amy Hutching, Glen Hinckley, and Morgan Page, 3 Grandchildren Erin Hutching, Alex Hutching and Kennedy Page, Brother Glen Childs, Aunt Dee Fly, and Mother Marjorie Childs. We will miss you!
Mr. Childs will have inurnment services 1:30pm on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery with military honors. Those planning to attend please meet at the cemetery in lane C between 1:10-1:25pm. 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
