Jack Garner passed away on November 13, 2016 while surrounded by wife and family. He will be dearly missed by all who cherished his positive spirit and zest for life as he ascends to be with our Lord and Savior.
Memorial Service 1 p.m. Thursday in the Founder’s Chapel at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church Southlake, Texas.
Jack was born June 28, 1936 in Nevada, Missouri to the late David E Garner Jr. and Hilda Garner. He attended school, graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City and lived in the Kansas City area most of his life after serving in the National Guard. He worked for the 27 years at AT & T where he retired in 1987 at age 50. After retirement he followed his children and grandchildren to live in North Texas in 2006 and enjoy many healthy happy years with family around.
Survivors: wife of 59 years Carol; children Melissa and Bob Kenney and Dave and Mary Garner; grandchildren Jessica and Kristina Kenney, Danielle and David Greenfield, Evan and Alec Garner along with his great grandson Lucas Greenfield.
