David Ross Martella, age 66, born May 20, 1957 in San Francisco, California and passed away October 9, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born to Joseph Pete Martella and Margaret Ann Haynes.
David attended San Francisco State University. He had many occupations in his lifetime starting with Computer City, RadioShack Corporation for 30 years, Trinity Associates, Mosaic Sales Solutions, Pelagic Group, Cisco Systems, GVN Airlines, Axecelora and Costco for eight years.
He was the former President and 20-year Member of the Rotary Club of Keller, Member of Friends of the Library, Former Director of Keller Economic Development Board and a Member of Toastmasters.
David’s hobbies included spending time with his family, Ronda, Joseph, Alondra, Jessica and Matthew. Family was the most important thing to David, he took the time to talk on the phone with his best friend, his brother Mark, nearly every day. In his leisure time he enjoyed watching cooking shows, as he was always looking for new recipes to try at family dinner nights. He enjoyed beating everyone at trivia and once even tried out for Jeopardy. He never missed the 49er’s game and spent his final evening on earth watching them defeat the Dallas Cowboys.
David is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ronda Martella, his son Joseph Martella, his daughter-in-law Alondra Ortiz Martella, his daughter Jessica Martella DeLeon and his son-in-law Matthew DeLeon. In addition to his brother Mark Martella, his wife Kathy Martella, and their three children, Matthew, Mitchell, and Haley. As well as his sister Lorraine Martella and her daughter Monica Benedetti.
David is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Pete Martella, his mother Margaret Ann Haynes and his brother Larry Martella.
