It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Sanchez, who left this world on April 16, 2025, at the age of 65.

Born on June 26, 1959, in El Paso, Texas, David was the beloved son of Helen (Elena De La Rosa) Sanchez and Ray (Ramon F.) Sanchez. A proud graduate of Coronado High School, David went on to attend Austin Community College, where he nurtured both his intellectual curiosity and technical acumen.

David built a fulfilling career in the field of Information Technology, contributing his skills and leadership to organizations such as Microsoft and CIM Group. His work was marked by a deep commitment to innovation and a quiet, reliable excellence that earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues across the industry.

Outside of his profession, David had a true artist’s soul. He was a passionate photographer who saw the world through a lens of light, emotion, and subtle beauty. For him, photography was not just an art—it was a way of seeing people and moments for all they were and could be.

David was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Sergio Sanchez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Hope A. Sanchez, and former spouse, Marie-France Arancibia; his sons, Carlos Sanchez (Iga Sanchez) and Lorenzo Sanchez (Anna Schmieding); his brothers, Victor Sanchez (Phyllis Sanchez) and Daniel Sanchez; his sister, Anita Henson (Greg Henson); his step-grandson, Dylan Schlabach (Winter Frame), and step great-grandson, Rylee Schlabach. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends and extended family members who will deeply miss his presence and wisdom.

A visitation will take place one hour prior to the memorial service, which will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Friends and family are warmly invited to gather in remembrance of a man whose life quietly impacted so many.

David’s life was a blend of intellect and artistry, of quiet strength and compassionate heart. Through his work, his art, and his love, he touched more lives than he ever knew. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
