He served his country proudly from 1973 to 1975 in the United States Air Force.

If you knew Allan, he was witty and loved many things like golf and traveling. He loved going to Vegas. He was a gun enthusiast and coffee connoisseur. He was a faithful fan of the Dallas Stars and Dallas Cowboys. He loved good music such as one of his favorites Jimmy Buffet. Allan drove for CFI for many years and eventually drove again for CFI even up until the day he left us too soon. Allan loved his family and was a great “Papa”. He had a huge heart and a great sense of humor. He was passionate about staying busy and collecting many things including but not limited to smokers. He loved a good western hat and a pair of boots. There was very little he loved more than he loved his dogs. It did not matter what mood he was in he would always be smiling.
Allan was a loved and devoted Husband, Son, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and Faithful Friend. Allan is missed dearly. Our family appreciates the love, support, thoughts, and prayers.
Burial services will be at the Dallas National Cemetery on 18 September 2023 at 2:00 PM where he will be placed amongst his parents, brothers, and sisters in arms.
