David “Big Al” Swartz, of Keller, Texas, passed away on August 5, 2020. He will always be remembered as a loving brother, father, uncle, and friend, to all that knew and loved him. He was the youngest of three boys born on June 1, 1967 in Texas, to Fred and Shirley Swartz. David earned his Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas in 1990.
David welcomed his child, Maddie Swartz on April 5, 2002, and from that day was a devoted, loving father and best friend to his daughter.
David had a lucrative career in Private Investigation for over 15 years.
He was well known for his playful spirit, love of his family, and passion for caring of any animal that crossed his path. His hobbies included Civil War reenactments, and visiting Civil War historical sites.
David is survived by his adored daughter; Maddie Swartz, Parents; Shirley and Fred Swartz, Brothers; Bruce Swartz and family, Matt Swartz, his wife Stacy, and family, Aunts; Jaynie Shotwell and family, Bonnie Williams and husband Jack, Cousin; Tammy Milhorn, and several Nieces and Nephews, Extended Family; Darcie Troy and her kids; Connor, Kiera, and Carson.
