On Friday, January 29, 2021, God’s son, David Vasquez Sr. went home to be with his Heavenly Father. He was 69 at the time of his death. He lived in Dallas, TX. He was born on May 17, 1951 in Corpus Christi, TX. He is now in his Heavenly home with his father - Juan Vasquez Sr., his mother - Josefa Casares Vasquez and his brother – Silverio Vasquez. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his by his four children: David Vasquez Jr., Dixie Ann Vasquez, Stefanie Irene Vasquez and Daisy Vasquez. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren: Dominic Alexander Vasquez, Jacob Ezekiel Vasquez, Gabriella Browning, Elisa Browning, Meraiah Browning, Kathrine Ruiz, Aspen Vaughn Vasquez, Isaiah Alexander Vasquez, and Isabel Jolie Vasquez and his siblings: Toby Vasquez, Luis Vasquez Juan Vasquez Jr., Roy Vasquez, Gilbert Vasquez, Gloria De los Santos, Maria Vasquez, Alice Vasquez, and Ester Cuellar. Add to that the many nieces, nephews and cousins that he adored. David was a hard worker, he started working as a young boy with his siblings, picking cotton in the cotton fields. He ultimately retired from Richardson ISD, after 25 years of loyal service. He once won the award for perfect work attendance. His only regret was not being able to work more at times when his health failed him. He loved learning and accumulated many awards, certifications, and merits over the years. If he didn’t know how to do something, he was going to figure it out. When it was time to relax, he enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing dominoes and spending time with his family and friends. He was also a huge New Orleans Saints Fan. He always had a smile on his face, a positive attitude and he would give you the shirt off his back. He loved the Lord. He loved life. He is now resting in peace.
