Reverend David Velázquez, 85 years old, minister of Light to Salvation
church (Luz de Salvación) for 22 years in Aguas Buenas,
Puerto Rico passed away October 28, 2017 in Fort Worth,
Texas surrounded with family. He was a dedicated minister,an excellent heavy machinery operator, a great cook, a soldier to our country and the best father to his family. He touched many lives during and after his ministry and his teachings will live with us forever. As his only grandson said after learning of his passing: "IF WE GET TO BE 1 PERCENT OF THE MAN YOU WERE, WE CAN BE HAPPY."
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 from 12pm to 2pm at Lucas Funeral Chapel and the funeral service will follow at 2pm. He will live in our hearts until God comes for us.
